Okay so I felt like this one took me forever and a day. Histaln's got a ridiculous amount of minute details, half of them probably not even showing up in this cause of its size.

So this is Histlan Gens, a young woman of 29 years who has spent many years in a terrible place physcially and then mentally afterwards. Those years are in the past though and however haunted she is by then she pushes forward with life, refusing to waste anymore years in fear.

Her story's rather complicated and getting into it here would take a long time, but she's become one of my favourite characters quickly, up there with Mia just behind Kat.

I played her on Dark Wars [link] a wonderful site that's on a semi-to-fully-permanent hiatus right now, which is a shame.
But I still play her with a good friend of mine still in our own little space. ^__^

To clarify just a few things quickly:
- Histlan is nearly completely blind. She sees colour and motion but it is all masses of blur and near indistinguishable, so she wears the sashs to prevent that from distracting her, and to hide her markings.
- Her hair when she was a child was blonde but then was discoloured by exposure to dark magic, so that is why she has some blonde streaks from parts of the roots that were less affected.
- The beads on her staff are glass and click together and whistle subtly in motion so she knows where the blade of her halberd is.
- On her belt are two jutte and the straps going to her back holds a three-section-staff which is not visible in this. As well she wears a layer of thinner chainmail under her leather coat, also not visible.
